Hmm. Doubt is creeping in. There is a chance, just a chance mind you, that I have watched too many episodes of NCIS. All I can think of when I look at this image is skeletal remains. Since I don't catch much TV, I'm beginning to wonder if I need a bit more, just to balance my perspective?
I do love what's left behind at seasons end. The fall season that is, not a cliff hanger.

I can see it! Down here, we get a lot of tumbleweeds, and the wind lets them have races... sometimes they roll in front of cars on the highway, then I see the tragic outcome of speeding without looking both ways! The imagination is a wondrous thing, but sometimes it gets away from us! ;->
Ah tumbleweeds. Growing up where they grew, I can remember that eerie prickly structure carrying them along on those rolls you write about. Definitely skeletal remains with ominous potential. Agreed, a wondrous thing, imagination. Thanks goodness for yours. It has led you to amazing creative places.
