I miss gardening
the planning
working the soil
nursing, tending
anticipating the results
serendipity
seasons close
and back to planning...
I've written of the awareness it brings here
I love photography
the planning
working a location
nursing, tending
anticipating the results
serendipity
and back to planning...
Ah, life is a garden
with endless options
of plots to tend.
It seems our task
is finding the plot that fits
for the time and place.
The gift lies in the options
and a ready willingness
to dig anew.

Beautifully said! I love gardening, but I'm finding it takes a little more energy than I currently have... I content myself with a little weeding here, trimming there... and hope to get some seeds planted before winter!
BTW, I am going to NM later this week, and hope to get my very own pix of Taos... can't wait!
Hi Judy,
Yes, that is it, finding contentment with the tasks our bodies allow us. Conserving energy for the chosen motions. I hope you get those seeds in too. Spring will be all the sweeter for it.
Now, about NM and Taos, Yeah! There will be inspiration everywhere. Especially at this time of year. Either going or returning take the high road. There should be fall color up there. Aspens. NM=inspiration heaven. Have a wonderful trip.
Hugs,
Chris
Beautiful photos. You can come over anytime and play in the dirt in the jungle garden:) I completely understand about finding contentment with the tasks that our bodies allow us. Thank goodness to the hardworking yard guys that allow me to keep playing in the dirt!
Your photos are magical, Chris. I love those drooping buds. Such soul in them.
Hi BG,
Thanks so much for the "play in the dirt" offer. :) Glad you have the fellows to help with the base work letting you focus your energy on those beautiful plantings.
Hugs and love,
Chris
PS...the verification word is "grand"!
Teresa,
So glad you enjoyed the photos. Those buds are one of my favorites from this season.
Hugs,
Chris
