Rise Up

I never tire of Rilke's timeless perspectives. This quote has been rolling through my mind all week and looking for a way out. Now I must rise up, go forth and deal with weekend chores. I could use a bit of Rilke thinking to get them done. As our snow, ice and chilly temps subside, I send you all good wishes for the same!

How dare you quote from someone I had to read in my undergrad English Comp class! :-) I don't remember any Rilke verbatim but this is reminding me of something vital.

Watch for a side e-mail about this photo.

OMG. I have been thinking about posting this quote all week! I love it! What would you think of my using this in my sidebar with attribution to you of course. Maybe? Please, with sugar on top? Ginger pear sorbet? :)

What a great poster this would make!

Prof Geo,
So are you telling me, with that library of yours, Rilke isn't front and center in the stacks? Wha..? His works would keep the room in balance. :)
Seriously, glad to know it it served well.
Hugs,
Chris

If the answer is no, I will certainly understand, Chris. No problemo.

Teresa,
Seems our journeys were bound to join. Different tickets, same train. I'm awfully glad dear friend. Rilke may have been restless this week from all the attention. Of course you are welcome to use the image on your blog. I'm honored. Now about that Ginger Pear Sorbet...there may be enough snow between your state and mine to keep the sorbet frozen in transit.
Hugs,
Chris

Thanks BG. Rilke had some fine things to say and they continue to stand the test of time.
Hugs to you over there. Be warm,
Chris

Nice work. I came across your blog while “blog surfing” using the Next Blog button on the blue Nav Bar located at the top of my blogger.com site. I frequently just travel around looking for other blogs which exist on the Internet, and the various, creative ways in which people express themselves. Thanks for sharing.
