Teresa, Thank you so much. It is great to hear from you. Can't believe anyone would hang in there with me through these long, blank, heavy work stretches.
Each time I review the various images caught on that drive through the Palouse, those early morning horses touch me most. At the time I was sitting in my car in the middle of a very vacant road. I didn't want to create any movement and risk loosing the calm I was sharing with them, so all photos were taken from a sitting position. Seemed a pretty odd image perspective in the moment. In the end I think the images do a pretty good job of reflecting what I felt. A softness of spirit only surpassed by their significant size.
Thank you Judy, it was special timing to be sure. So glad to know these two dear souls are making you happy too. Hope all is well and that some rain has found it's way to your area? Hugs, Chris
Chris, we had rain and even some snow on the S.F. peaks a couple of weeks ago... now we've gone into the windy season, which I'm not fond of. But got a good bit of yard cleanup done before they came. And last Saturday, I got down to Sedona with a friend for the day to enjoy the fall color in Oak Creek Canyon as well as the beauty of the red rock country... eye candy for the soul, to be sure! Hope you are doing well up your way!
Wow Judy, Had no idea it had already snowed a bit down there. Good news.
Just yesterday I saw some fall shots of Oak Creek Canyon. Stunning place. My only touch with Arizona was a trip in the 70's and catching just a corner of it. Really hope to explore there someday with the camera. So glad you have all that inspiration for your work near by. And Yeah to all those rich colors. It is raining pretty hard here today so I'm guessing we will be loosing a good number of the leaves this region has been sporting.
Love that "eye candy for the soul", and hoping each day brings some into all of our days.

Time to sleep and renew.
Hugs dear one,
