On this Eve of 2011, I send you wishes for a wonderful New Year. Goodness and light ahead, where ever and when ever possible. As for those things that may have weighted you down in 2010, may they be water under the bridge, dissolving on their journey down stream or out to sea, reforming as gained understandings and growth.
The photo above was taken at Deception Pass in WA.

"...dissolving on their way downstream." Indeed. Happy New Year, Chris!
And a Happy New Year to you too Teresa! Raising my last cup of 2010 tea to you from across the miles.
Hugs,
Chris
Yes, yes. May it be water under the bridge.
Happy new year!
Thanks for continuing to post positive items in this online sea of cynicism and snark! My own conscience (you may have met her) will probably encourage me to ease up on the curmudgeonry myself a little in 2011. Happy New Year!
Thanks Linda!
And a Happy one to you as well!
Hugs,
Chris
ProfGeo,
You bet. Ah, cynicism and snarkdom. Tempting waters those. But yes, I do know your conscience, and she is likely a strong swimmer and no doubt taken life saving classes, so I'm not going to worry about you and the deep end.
I admire your willingness to share your observations and perspectives. Complacent you are not. Good things, those. Now curmudgeonry...
Hugs and love,
Chris
Beautiful photo. We have gone through Deception Pass in the boat and it was very tense. When we were about ready under the bridge the Victoria Clipper came up behind us, so we let it pass and sloshed through the narrow gap behind it!
P.S. Tell ProGeo that he just needs to look at the red buoy photo more often:)
BG,
I had no idea the Clipper goes under the Deception Pass Bridge. It just doesn't seem like a big enough channel. You and Flips have more never than I. I would probably have turned around and headed in the opposite direction.
I caught another pic of the same red buoy the other day at high tide. Glad you reminded me. I'll post it at some point for contrast. Not nearly as interesting as the first version. Grin.
Hugs,
Chris
