Grace In Motion

There are things in life that seem to exemplify grace in motion to me. You have yours as well, I have no doubt. In the marvelous and magical animal kingdom, my favorites dwell. Their carriage often defying their shapes and loads. Swans, giraffes, horses, elk and big cats have much to teach of pace and patience. Observing their slow flowing passage rests the heart...and fills it as well.

I think I love the giraffe more than all others. They are like something from another place and time. This stirs up some thought in me and I thank you. The swan amid the green is striking. Good to hear from you again, Chris!

Teresa,
I agree about the giraffe leading the list. A friend took some photos while in South Africa recently and happily there were a number of giraffes included. All her images were filled with magic. You are spot on...they are like something from another place and time.

On the swan amid the green; I kept thinking all that algae would make for some itchy times later, but in the moment all seemed fine.

I am sorry for still being away more than here. I'm counting on late fall and winter to slow a bit. Hope to catch up with your posts again soon.
Hugs and love,
Chris

Thank you Jack. I often use the mental image of those animals in movement to slow down internally. How wonderful to have them right outside the door to watch, as you and Brenda do.
Hugs,
Chris
